Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kurt Folkers kicked off to start the match. Joeri Hoiting fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Schrage having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiel Sybering in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mark Schrage prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the match, Buggenem FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiel Sybering came free, but Mark Schrage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Damien Heida fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ruimel's protests and gave Damien Heida a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Buggenem FC booed when Ruimel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damien Heida didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Buggenem FC's zone, Joeri Hoiting stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Schrage came out of the goal and Joeri Hoiting tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Emiel Sybering had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute Joeri Hoiting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Schrage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joeri Hoiting sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Joeri Hoiting's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mark Schrage was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 33rd match minute, Buggenem FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Hoeksma to maneuver through the defense. Meindert Hulscher scored 1-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jordi Veenema, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Meindert Hulscher came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Buggenem FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Meindert Hulscher couldn't finish the play. When Gerrit Wensing fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buggenem FC's protests and gave Gerrit Wensing a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Buggenem FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ruimel a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Peter Maas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Buggenem FC's Mark Schrage. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emiel Sybering to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Ruimel's Joeri Hoiting ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mark Schrage. Mark Schrage yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Ruimel's Damien Heida got a free kick in the 56th minute. Meindert Hulscher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordi Veenema having to interfere. Mark Schrage stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiel Sybering's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. A collision led to Buggenem FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Wilfred Buskermolen hit a great ball. Robert Kleine charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Kleine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th match minute, Buggenem FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Kleine to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute of the match Peter Maas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mark Schrage skillfully saved the ball. Buggenem FC's Robert Kleine got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Robert Kleine off the ground. In the 83rd minute, Robert Kleine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emiel Sybering had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Emiel Sybering got free in front of the goal in the 90th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Mark Schrage was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 94 minutes Buggenem FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peter Maas who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ruimel's corner Peter Maas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mark Schrage quite easily take care of the ball. Buggenem FC's Mark Schrage proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Buggenem FC from getting a goal against them. The Buggenem FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ruimel were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
