Weste's Berend Dalmeijer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Weste from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Weste's zone, Alwin Seinstra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berend Dalmeijer came out of the goal and Alwin Seinstra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berend Dalmeijer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alwin Seinstra in the 13th minute of the match. Roland de Boer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Tigelaar, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Roland de Boer came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Weste's Maurits van der Leegte. But to his dismay, Maurits van der Leegte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alwin Seinstra in the 21st minute of play forced Weste's goalkeeper Berend Dalmeijer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berend Dalmeijer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alwin Seinstra in the 23rd minute of the match. Roland de Boer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurits van der Leegte in the 27th minute of play. Berend Dalmeijer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alwin Seinstra, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Berend Dalmeijer made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Jan Lammers sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Alwin Seinstra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tempel HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alwin Seinstra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berend Dalmeijer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, Tempel HC's goal looked a bit too open when Maurits van der Leegte came free, but Roland de Boer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Maurits van der Leegte made a precise shot to the right of Roland de Boer. Tempel HC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The Tempel HC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Weste were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maurits van der Leegte to strike the kick off in the second half. Roland de Boer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurits van der Leegte in the 53rd minute of play. If Gert Tigelaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the game, Huub Hoezen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tempel HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Weste the free kick. Huub Hoezen hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Jan Lammers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Alwin Seinstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berend Dalmeijer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Weste's zone, Jan Lammers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berend Dalmeijer came out of the goal and Jan Lammers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Lammers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Berend Dalmeijer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roland de Boer came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Weste's Maurits van der Leegte. But to his dismay, Maurits van der Leegte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Berend Dalmeijer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alwin Seinstra, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 91 minutes, Klaas Siepel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Weste and the Tempel HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alwin Seinstra might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Berend Dalmeijer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
