Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alwin Seinstra made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Aduarderzijl getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Hubert Tigelaar hit a great ball. Roland de Boer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niek de Groot in the 9th minute. After 10 played minutes Aduarderzijl got a freekick which was hit by Ton Grasmaaijer. Ton Grasmaaijer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Roland de Boer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Niek de Groot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aduarderzijl's supporters rose to their feet, but Niek de Groot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland de Boer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute Alwin Seinstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Foeke Oorthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, one of Tempel HC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 27th minute, Philip Hansma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alwin Seinstra in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Foeke Oorthuis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan Lammers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Foeke Oorthuis having to interfere. Foeke Oorthuis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alwin Seinstra, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Aduarderzijl:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tempel HC:s goal. Aduarderzijl:s Foeke Oorthuis showed great skill when he stopped Luc de Visscher:s penalty. After a long run with the ball, Luc de Visscher did a trick in the 46th minute in front of Aduarderzijl's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-1. An impressive performance by Tempel HC's Luc de Visscher! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fokke Aalders stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Tempel HC defense, Niek de Groot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roland de Boer. The Tempel HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roland de Boer should have stopped the shot. Niek de Groot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland de Boer having to interfere. After 59 minutes of play, Aduarderzijl's Fokke Aalders made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roland de Boer was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute Alwin Seinstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Foeke Oorthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fokke Aalders struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Roland de Boer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aduarderzijl. Foeke Oorthuis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alwin Seinstra's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Aduarderzijl's Ton Grasmaaijer got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fokke Aalders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Tempel HC's goal looked a bit too open when Niek de Groot came free, but Roland de Boer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aduarderzijl had played much better football throughout.
