Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alwin Seinstra started the match with the kick off. Wilfred Roewen hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Kijkduin HC's Egbert Holt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Lammers in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Ronny Thijsse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kijkduin HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tempel HC the free kick. After 10 played minutes Kijkduin HC got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Thijsse. A hard shot 20 in the game by Joeri Gasteren from a close distance when the talented Roland de Boer managed to make a qualified save. Tempel HC's players were relieved. Roland de Boer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Floris Kauffeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Joeri Gasteren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Alwin Seinstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egbert Holt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Floris Kauffeld in the 28th minute of play forced Tempel HC's goalkeeper Roland de Boer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38thth minute of the game Jan Lammers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kijkduin HC's Egbert Holt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Tempel HC fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Tempel HC's Jan Lammers looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 46th minute Jan Lammers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egbert Holt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 54 minutes, Brain Wieringh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tempel HC and the Kijkduin HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brain Wieringh kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Kijkduin HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Floris Kauffeld to maneuver through the defense. Egbert Holt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alwin Seinstra in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Floris Kauffeld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kijkduin HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Floris Kauffeld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 68 minutes, Gerrie Grommers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kijkduin HC and the Tempel HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Gerrie Grommers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roland de Boer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joeri Gasteren in the 72nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tempel HC's zone, Floris Kauffeld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland de Boer came out of the goal and Floris Kauffeld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kijkduin HC's goalkeeper Egbert Holt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alwin Seinstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egbert Holt having to interfere. Ronny Thijsse hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Jan Lammers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Egbert Holt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Floris Kauffeld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kijkduin HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Floris Kauffeld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Tempel HC's Jeffrey van der Gouw got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Tempel HC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
