Weeg's Casper Israel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieter-Jan ten Rouwelaar in the 5th minute of play. A hard shot 9 in the game by Herman Hilberts from a close distance when the talented Casper Israel managed to make a qualified save. Weeg's players were relieved. In the 10th match minute, Weeg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Kromkamp to maneuver through the defense. Pieter-Jan ten Rouwelaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herman Hilberts struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Casper Israel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Looneind FC. Herman Hilberts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Israel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Pieter-Jan ten Rouwelaar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Israel was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Roeland Schenkhuizen kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Casper Israel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pieter-Jan ten Rouwelaar's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Looneind FC's Herman Hilberts got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herman Hilberts's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Casper Israel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Casper Israel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herman Hilberts in the 30th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Pieter-Jan ten Rouwelaar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Casper Israel, 2-1. A collision led to Looneind FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Bernard Bakhuis hit a great ball. In the 44th minute Weeg were awarded a corner. Roeland Schenkhuizen went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Looneind FC's goalie and right to Matthijs Sturm. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Looneind FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Wim Frankena's late challenge caught a Looneind FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wim Frankena helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute Wim Frankena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Cranenburgh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Stephan van Veldhuizen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stephan van Veldhuizen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Frank Cranenburgh when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Frank Cranenburgh stood somewhat misplaced when Stephan van Veldhuizen came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 63 minute. In the 67th minute, Wim Frankena reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Frank Cranenburgh. The goal made the score 3-3. If Stephan van Veldhuizen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Weeg's goal looked a bit too open when Herman Hilberts came free, but Casper Israel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herman Hilberts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Casper Israel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rob Melis fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Looneind FC's protests and gave Rob Melis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Rob Melis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roeland Schenkhuizen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Frank Cranenburgh. Looneind FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stephan van Veldhuizen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wim Frankena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 played minutes Looneind FC got a freekick which was hit by Richard Terpstra. In the 94th minute, Wim Frankena fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Frank Cranenburgh, passed just outside the right post. 96 minutes into the match, Weeg's Stephan van Veldhuizen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frank Cranenburgh narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
