The audience thought a goal was coming when Denny Evers got free with Guus Scheerhoorn in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Westdorpe's Berend Bouma got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 28 played minutes Westdorpe got a freekick which was hit by Jelte van der Meer. When Wilfried Wesveld came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Blokker FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfried Wesveld couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Blokker FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pieter van der Struijk came free, but Herbert Walregt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herbert Walregt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pieter van der Struijk in the 34th minute of the match. Steve Haas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Walregt having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Blokker FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre Roewen to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Pieter van der Struijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Walregt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Wilfried Wesveld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Blokker FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Westdorpe were winning 0-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Berend Severijnse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blokker FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Berend Severijnse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guus Scheerhoorn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd minute, Berend Severijnse made a precise shot to the right of Guus Scheerhoorn. Westdorpe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blokker FC's goalkeeper Herbert Walregt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Blokker FC's Herbert Walregt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieter van der Struijk in the 62nd minute of play. If Steve Haas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guus Scheerhoorn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berend Severijnse, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. A collision led to Westdorpe getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Berend Bouma hit a great ball. Berend Severijnse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berend Severijnse in the 92nd minute of play forced Westdorpe's goalkeeper Guus Scheerhoorn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas van Westerop charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
