Mathijs Veenker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gijs Holst having to interfere. Mathijs Veenker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st match minute, Stevensweert SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roderick Spanjer to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Denny Sanders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Ritsma made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Jan Klap sent off a good shot on target. Anton Ritsma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathieu de Jaeger in the 30th minute of play. Mathieu de Jaeger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Pieter-Jan Smits's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gijs Holst was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Jan Klap fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Ritsma having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mathieu de Jaeger to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Mathijs Veenker made a precise shot to the right of Gijs Holst. Stevensweert SV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 57 played minutes Craailo HC got a freekick which was hit by René Ebbinge. When Stevensweert SV's Mathieu de Jaeger in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Denny Sanders hit a great ball. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Craailo HC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roderick Spanjer was slow to take the kick. During this time Stevensweert SV's players had a chance to rest. Mathieu de Jaeger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jan Klap sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Stevensweert SV booed when Craailo HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. René Ebbinge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roderick Spanjer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anton Ritsma. Craailo HC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Jan Klap got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Craailo HC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Klap came free, but Anton Ritsma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mathieu de Jaeger came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Stevensweert SV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathieu de Jaeger couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Stevensweert SV booed when Craailo HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denny Sanders didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Craailo HC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
