Kristof Bouwens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Holsmuller having to interfere. Coenraad Koster was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Harm Olfers showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vucht S.C.'s Toni Roswinkel got a free kick in the 39th minute. Marcel Holsmuller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eelco Barends, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The audience was convinced that Eelco Barends's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel Holsmuller was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. With a little luck, Zandstroom's Marcel Holsmuller got control of the ball when Eelco Barends tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcel Holsmuller made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eelco Barends in the 88th minute. Eelco Barends sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
