Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kristof Bouwens made the kick off and thus started the match. Kristof Bouwens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pierre Dowie having to make a save. In the 4th minute, Eelco Barends got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pierre Dowie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristof Bouwens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricky Rieks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Kristof Bouwens fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With his leg Pierre Dowie managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Vucht S.C.'s Eelco Barends fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marick Beuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Coenraad Koster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Ricky Rieks made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vucht S.C.'s Coenraad Koster tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute, Ricky Rieks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ricky Rieks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Haerst FC booed when Vucht S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferry Huizing didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes Vucht S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Kristof Bouwens. After a rather tough play, Haerst FC's Hans Gerrits got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Haerst FC's goalkeeper Pierre Dowie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eelco Barends fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Dowie having to interfere. Pierre Dowie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristof Bouwens's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Ricky Rieks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marick Beuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricky Rieks made a kick off. Pierre Dowie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristof Bouwens in the 52nd minute of play. Toni Roswinkel's late challenge caught a Haerst FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toni Roswinkel helped the player get up and apologised. Toni Roswinkel kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Eelco Barends managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vucht S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Eelco Barends was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierre Dowie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Coenraad Koster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricky Rieks in the 62nd minute of the match. Vucht S.C.'s Kristof Bouwens got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Marick Beuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marcel Korevaar fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vucht S.C.'s protests and gave Marcel Korevaar a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Haerst FC booed when Vucht S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Korevaar didn't get a good kick on the ball.
