In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bunt's goalkeeper Robert de Ruijter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Ruben Ommen took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Robert de Ruijter to make any attempt to save it. Jochem Keller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno de Hondt having to interfere. Jochem Keller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno de Hondt having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jochem Keller in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno de Hondt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jochem Keller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hette Sans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jochem Keller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Bruno de Hondt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jochem Keller to make the kick off. Boksum Excelsior's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bunt the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Bunt's zone, Jouke Tollenaar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert de Ruijter came out of the goal and Jouke Tollenaar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hette Sans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Bruno de Hondt made a huge save. Robert de Ruijter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jouke Tollenaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, one of Bunt:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bunt. Bunt's Robert de Ruijter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Ommen in the 75th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Bunt got a freekick which was hit by Henk Hoogendorp. In the 82nd match minute, Boksum Excelsior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Tieleman to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 84 minutes, Jochem Keller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bunt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jochem Keller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Jouke Tollenaar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robert de Ruijter. Bunt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jouke Tollenaar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Hette Sans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Bruno de Hondt made a huge save.
