Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tzum's Niels-Jan van der Werff started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th minute Niels-Jan van der Werff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timo Tijink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Bob Eiting hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Niels-Jan van der Werff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henk-Jan Wiggers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Soeslo's Timo Tijink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niels-Jan van der Werff in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Edgard Sybring left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soeslo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Alexander de Koning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk-Jan Wiggers in the 26th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Bob Eiting mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Soeslo and the Tzum players grew even worse after the yellow card. Timo Tijink stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niels-Jan van der Werff's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Abraham Soer had several of the Soeslo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Timo Tijink as he didn't even see the shot coming. Alexander de Koning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Sybring in the 41st minute of the match. Edgard Sybring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johan Tigelaar kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henk-Jan Wiggers made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Henk-Jan Wiggers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander de Koning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tzum's goalkeeper Alexander de Koning, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk-Jan Wiggers in the 57th minute of play forced Tzum's goalkeeper Alexander de Koning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Henk-Jan Wiggers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes, Rogier Houtman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tzum and the Soeslo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Niels-Jan van der Werff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexander de Koning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordi Waterreus in the 79th minute of play. After 81 played minutes, Tzum's Marinus Okkes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Timo Tijink came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tzum reached it. Niels-Jan van der Werff scored 4-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timo Tijink, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abraham Soer struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Timo Tijink didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tzum. Bob Eiting got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Tzum booed when Soeslo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bob Eiting didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timo Tijink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niels-Jan van der Werff in the 94th minute of the match.
