The Lingsfort FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Wielaert should have stopped the shot. Sven Wielaert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolf Heesen in the 18th minute of play. Remond Kras's late challenge caught a Vink's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remond Kras helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egbert Geraets in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Wielaert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Donny Hoogsteen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Henk Onrust tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Donny Hoogsteen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, one of Lingsfort FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lingsfort FC. Jacques Dolfing placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Egbert Geraets to strike the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Koekkoek kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Egbert Geraets struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Sven Wielaert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vink. Egbert Geraets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. The supporters of Lingsfort FC booed when Vink was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dolf Heesen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th match minute, Vink was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dolf Heesen to maneuver through the defense. Folkert Sluis, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Dolf Heesen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vink's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lingsfort FC the free kick. Henk Onrust took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donny Hoogsteen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Lingsfort FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Benjamin Koekkoek hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egbert Geraets got free with Sven Wielaert in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remond Kras kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Sven Wielaert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dolf Heesen in the 92nd minute. Vink's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jacques Dolfing in the 94th minute. The corner led Vink's Jacques Dolfing to fire away a dangerous shot which Sven Wielaert despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 95 played minutes Lingsfort FC got a freekick which was hit by Folkert Sluis. Sven Wielaert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egbert Geraets in the 98th minute. Vink's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
