After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Fernando Beukers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zuid HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Beukers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruud Hansma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Pannerden FC booed when Zuid HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronald Stout didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Zuid HC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ralf de Boer hit a great ball. Fernando Beukers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ruud Hansma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Zuid HC's Fernando Beukers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruud Hansma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Zuid HC's Ronald Stout slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ruud Hansma. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. Pannerden FC's Ruud Hansma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Stout in the 32nd minute of play. Teun Plenter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jef Stühling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Pannerden FC's Tomas Wilminck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teun Plenter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernando Beukers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Pannerden FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ivo van der Valk hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Pannerden FC defense, Fernando Beukers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruud Hansma. The Pannerden FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruud Hansma should have stopped the shot.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Jef Stühling took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Teun Plenter to make any attempt to save it. Ruud Hansma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Beukers in the 57th minute of the match. Jef Stühling blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teun Plenter having to make a save. Ruud Hansma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Beukers in the 82nd minute of the match. Pannerden FC's Ruud Hansma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Beukers in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to Pannerden FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Leendert Klaus hit a great ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Fernando Beukers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pannerden FC's Ruud Hansma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Fernando Beukers sped through Pannerden FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruud Hansma. Teun Plenter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jef Stühling in the 90th minute of play. Jef Stühling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teun Plenter having to interfere. Pannerden FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
