Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) IJpecolsga SC's Ralph Kromme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save IJpecolsga SC from getting a goal against them. Jaap Wittendorp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ralph Kromme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, IJpecolsga SC's Ralph Kromme got control of the ball when Hette Rolink tried to sneak it across the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 13th minute when Hette Rolink elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Loete FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rob Bartele hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, IJpecolsga SC's Ton de Hondt tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Gerwin van Herwijnen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Zwaanswijk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerwin van Herwijnen in the 24th minute of the match. Rick Thole received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hans Zwaanswijk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in IJpecolsga SC's zone, Hette Rolink stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralph Kromme came out of the goal and Hette Rolink tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hette Rolink's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ralph Kromme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Jaap Wittendorp might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ralph Kromme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaap Wittendorp ran back to his position shaking his head. Gerwin van Herwijnen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Hans Zwaanswijk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerwin van Herwijnen to strike the kick off in the second half. It was a penalty for IJpecolsga SC! 77 minutes into the match, IJpecolsga SC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaap Wittendorp came free, but Ralph Kromme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Loete FC's goalkeeper Hans Zwaanswijk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rick Thole. After a defensive mix-up in Loete FC's zone, Nick Rolink stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Zwaanswijk came out of the goal and Nick Rolink tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerwin van Herwijnen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Zwaanswijk having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Gerwin van Herwijnen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Zwaanswijk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Gerwin van Herwijnen managed to get in a good position for a shot. IJpecolsga SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerwin van Herwijnen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Zwaanswijk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 99th minute by Gerwin van Herwijnen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Loete FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while IJpecolsga SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
