Kudelstaart FC's Rob Koekkoek got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerwin van Herwijnen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kudelstaart FC's Arie Fleur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerwin van Herwijnen in the 20th minute of play. Matthijs Fikkers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ralph Kromme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 played minutes IJpecolsga SC got a freekick which was hit by Ton de Hondt. In a very dangerous position, a player in IJpecolsga SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Rob Koekkoek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Matthijs Fikkers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ralph Kromme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Matthijs Fikkers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kudelstaart FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthijs Fikkers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ralph Kromme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 49 minutes into the match, IJpecolsga SC's goal looked a bit too open when Rob Koekkoek came free, but Ralph Kromme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rob Koekkoek to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerwin van Herwijnen in the 55th minute of play forced Kudelstaart FC's goalkeeper Arie Fleur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of IJpecolsga SC booed when Kudelstaart FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf de Rudder didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 played minutes, IJpecolsga SC's Ton de Hondt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arie Fleur came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in IJpecolsga SC reached it. Rick Thole fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arie Fleur having to interfere. Arie Fleur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Thole in the 64th minute of the match. Johannes Vledder was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, IJpecolsga SC's goal looked a bit too open when Rob Koekkoek came free, but Ralph Kromme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rob Koekkoek took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralph Kromme. Ralph Kromme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Rob Koekkoek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ralph Kromme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Matthijs Fikkers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arie Fleur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerwin van Herwijnen in the 91st minute of the match. Kudelstaart FC played a much better game than IJpecolsga SC and deserved their victory. The IJpecolsga SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
