Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jaap Wittendorp took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Overbroek Excelsior's goalkeeper Hubert Raatjes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jaap Wittendorp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hubert Raatjes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hette Rolink in the 11th minute of the match. Sjaak Zeegelaar kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Hette Rolink managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loete FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hette Rolink was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hubert Raatjes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Pieter Dirks reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hans Zwaanswijk. The goal made the score 1-0. Pieter Dirks struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Hans Zwaanswijk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Overbroek Excelsior. When Rob Bartele fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Loete FC's protests and gave Rob Bartele a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Rob Bartele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Pieter Dirks made a precise shot to the right of Hans Zwaanswijk. Loete FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Pieter Dirks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Joost Boer's late challenge caught a Overbroek Excelsior's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Joost Boer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Jan-Joost Boer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gooitzen Schut who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Hans Zwaanswijk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hans Zwaanswijk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieter Dirks in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Loete FC's Jaap Wittendorp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hubert Raatjes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Pieter Dirks made the kick off in the second half. Hubert Raatjes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaap Wittendorp's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Hubert Raatjes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hette Rolink in the 53rd minute. Hubert Raatjes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaap Wittendorp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Overbroek Excelsior's Gooitzen Schut got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ton Schuurmans struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Hubert Raatjes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loete FC. Loete FC's Hans Zwaanswijk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieter Dirks in the 64th minute of play. Gooitzen Schut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pieter Dirks in the 68th minute of play forced Loete FC's goalkeeper Hans Zwaanswijk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hette Rolink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Raatjes having to interfere. In the 77th minute of the match, Jaap Wittendorp tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hubert Raatjes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Overbroek Excelsior's zone, Jaap Wittendorp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hubert Raatjes came out of the goal and Jaap Wittendorp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gooitzen Schut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Loete FC's Jaap Wittendorp dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Hette Rolink struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Hubert Raatjes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loete FC.
