Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eric Bessing got the match started through his kick off. Freek Oortwijn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Bessing in the 4th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Bern SC got a freekick which was hit by Douwe Meyer. Eric Bessing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freek Oortwijn having to interfere. If Edgar Schild had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute, Robert Hofsteenge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oosterpark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Bern SC's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Hofsteenge came free, but Simon de Coninck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Hofsteenge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon de Coninck having to make a save. In the 36th minute, Henk-Jan Bosz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Oosterpark's Freek Oortwijn got control of the ball when Edgar Schild tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Victor Damen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oosterpark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bern SC the free kick. Oosterpark's Freek Oortwijn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Oosterpark from getting a goal against them. When Jan-Joost Wijngaart came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Oosterpark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Joost Wijngaart couldn't finish the play. If Eric Bessing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Hofsteenge made a kick off. Robert Hofsteenge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon de Coninck having to interfere. Robert Hofsteenge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Simon de Coninck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 56 minutes, Jan-Joost Wijngaart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oosterpark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Joost Wijngaart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan-Joost Wijngaart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60thth minute of the game Robert Hofsteenge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bern SC's Simon de Coninck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victor Damen kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Eric Bessing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Thomas Zuidema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Edgar Schild managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bern SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Schild was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freek Oortwijn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Schild recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Oosterpark's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chiel Bosz was slow to take the kick. During this time Bern SC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Bern SC's Chiel Bosz to fire away a dangerous shot which Freek Oortwijn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Oosterpark's zone, Tom Zalm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freek Oortwijn came out of the goal and Tom Zalm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simon de Coninck came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Oosterpark's Robert Hofsteenge. But to his dismay, Robert Hofsteenge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Jan-Joost Wijngaart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Simon de Coninck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Schild fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freek Oortwijn having to interfere. Robert Hofsteenge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Simon de Coninck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Oosterpark had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
