Lucas Deijnen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenik Muskee in the 6th minute of the match. Roeland Schoenmakers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allard Redan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mike Wagenaar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roeland Schoenmakers having to make a save. The supporters of Medhuizen FC booed when Valkenburg SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luuk Post didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Roeland Schoenmakers managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Medhuizen FC's Mike Wagenaar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guus Kemper in the 34th minute of play forced Medhuizen FC's goalkeeper Lucas Deijnen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roeland Schoenmakers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mike Wagenaar in the 36th minute. Lucas Deijnen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guus Kemper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mike Wagenaar in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roeland Schoenmakers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guus Kemper stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd of the match, Guus Kemper tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Lucas Deijnen got in the way and made a wonderful save. Mike Wagenaar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domenik Muskee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Lucas Deijnen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guus Kemper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Deijnen having to interfere. Mike Wagenaar kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Domenik Muskee struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Lucas Deijnen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valkenburg SV. Oscar Winters hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. If Allard Redan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roeland Schoenmakers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allard Redan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Valkenburg SV's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Wagenaar came free, but Roeland Schoenmakers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Valkenburg SV's zone, Allard Redan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roeland Schoenmakers came out of the goal and Allard Redan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domenik Muskee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Mike Wagenaar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Roeland Schoenmakers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. During the 90th minute of the match Mike Wagenaar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mike Wagenaar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 91st match minute, Medhuizen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Wagenaar to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Valkenburg SV booed when Medhuizen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorn Grommers didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led to Valkenburg SV's Luuk Post getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Valkenburg SV players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Medhuizen FC.
