Jordy Zondervan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Dick Janssen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jeffrey Lammers kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Gooitzen Daelemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Oliver Egberts came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Krassum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Egberts couldn't finish the play. Jeffrey Lammers charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeffrey Lammers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jeffrey Lammers hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Ferry Heije took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dick Janssen. Krassum's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ronald van der Schans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jouke Saenen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ronald van der Schans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Nieuwehaske's zone, Oliver Egberts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jouke Saenen came out of the goal and Oliver Egberts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oliver Egberts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jouke Saenen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordy Zondervan in the 30th minute of play forced Krassum's goalkeeper Dick Janssen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristof Knuppel couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kristof Knuppel to strike the kick off in the second half. Dick Janssen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristof Knuppel, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ronald van der Schans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Jouke Saenen made a huge save. If Kristof Knuppel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ronald van der Schans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Krassum's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronald van der Schans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jouke Saenen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th match minute, Nieuwehaske was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melvin Daamen to maneuver through the defense. Gooitzen Daelemans hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Kristof Knuppel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nieuwehaske's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristof Knuppel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tonnie van Bronckhorst during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Krassum getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Tonnie van Bronckhorst hit a great ball. Dick Janssen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordy Zondervan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 played minutes Krassum got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Spanjer. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jelle Hoogsteen during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Krassum booed when Nieuwehaske was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jelle Hoogsteen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronald van der Schans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Krassum's Dick Janssen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristof Knuppel in the 91st minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, Krassum's goal looked a bit too open when Jordy Zondervan came free, but Dick Janssen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
