In the 51st match minute, Vosseburen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ton Davids to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Vosseburen's Pieter Blank tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Johannes Jochemsen's late challenge caught a Epse FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Epse FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
