Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Meemortal's Sjef Need started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dieskant FC's Gregor Teuws proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Dieskant FC from getting a goal against them. After 5 played minutes Dieskant FC got a freekick which was hit by Frits Warneke. With a little luck, Dieskant FC's Gregor Teuws got control of the ball when Sjef Need tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diderik Scholten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Barry van Zwam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilbert Meinders hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Dave Swerts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Joost Pruischer's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Meemortal's Barry van Zwam nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gregor Teuws made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Sjef Need sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Meemortal's Sjef Need in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dieskant FC's goalie prevented a goal. 33 minutes into the game, Jan-Joost Pruischer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dave Swerts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 41 minutes, Theo Höhenstein mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Meemortal and the Dieskant FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Meemortal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theo Höhenstein to maneuver through the defense. If Sjef Need had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, Marcus van Rooijen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dieskant FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meemortal the free kick. A collision led to Dieskant FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Marcus van Rooijen hit a great ball. In the 48th minute of the match Jeroen Meinders shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gregor Teuws showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Jan-Joost Pruischer made the kick off in the second half. Jan-Joost Pruischer struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Dave Swerts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dieskant FC. Barry van Zwam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diderik Scholten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Dave Swerts made a huge save. Gilbert Meinders hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Sjef Need notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Dieskant FC's Gregor Teuws. Gregor Teuws was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sjef Need might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregor Teuws. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sjef Need ran back to his position shaking his head. Jan-Joost Pruischer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dave Swerts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Diderik Scholten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dieskant FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Meemortal.
