Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tonnie Asselbergs got the match started through his kick off. The long shot by Fabiën Kleefstra in the 12th minute really tested Dirk-Jan Kemper's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 15th minute of the match Geert Arend de Backer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacques Andriessen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Karsten Baaijen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vilheide HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wissinkhoek HC the free kick. The supporters of Wissinkhoek HC booed when Vilheide HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karsten Baaijen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kees de Haan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jacques Andriessen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Pals in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacques Andriessen saved Vilheide HC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Jan Pals's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacques Andriessen was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. When Tonnie Asselbergs fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vilheide HC's protests and gave Tonnie Asselbergs a yellow card for diving instead. Tonnie Asselbergs kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Teun Driessens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Anton Kleefstra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wissinkhoek HC's Dirk-Jan Kemper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Averdijk in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Pals made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Wissinkhoek HC's zone, Teun Driessens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dirk-Jan Kemper came out of the goal and Teun Driessens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Vilheide HC's Jacques Andriessen got control of the ball when Kees de Haan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dirk-Jan Kemper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teun Driessens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tonnie Asselbergs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th match minute, Wissinkhoek HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike de Rudder to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wissinkhoek HC's goalkeeper Dirk-Jan Kemper, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Vilheide HC booed when Wissinkhoek HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Kleefstra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tonnie Asselbergs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Dirk-Jan Kemper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kees de Haan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Tonnie Asselbergs notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Wissinkhoek HC's Dirk-Jan Kemper. Dirk-Jan Kemper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Jan Pals had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roland Schie during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 90 minutes into the game, one of Vilheide HC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jan Pals fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacques Andriessen having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
