Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Andre Overdiep kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Burgh HC's Simon Heck got a free kick in the 4th minute. Burgh HC's Chiel Schuurman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Eschendaal in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Burgh HC's zone, Jan Eschendaal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chiel Schuurman came out of the goal and Jan Eschendaal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simon Heck charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Heck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Anthony den Engelsman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chiel Schuurman was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Anthony den Engelsman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chiel Schuurman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Jan Eschendaal struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Chiel Schuurman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hydaard SC. Coos Ronde blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan-Joost Moorlag having to make a save. Jan Eschendaal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Chiel Schuurman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andre Overdiep recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan-Joost Moorlag stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andre Overdiep's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Roland Verbeek's late challenge caught a Burgh HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roland Verbeek helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Roland Verbeek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anthony den Engelsman to strike the kick off in the second half. Burgh HC's Simon Heck got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. The referee ordered Simon Heck off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Hydaard SC's zone, Coos Ronde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Joost Moorlag came out of the goal and Coos Ronde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Coos Ronde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chiel Schuurman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony den Engelsman in the 81st minute of play. Jan-Joost Moorlag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coos Ronde in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hydaard SC's Jelle van der Laan got a free kick in the 84th minute. Coos Ronde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Joost Moorlag having to interfere. If Arno Schimmel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
