Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Anthony den Engelsman made the kick off and thus started the match. Anthony den Engelsman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but John Everts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hydaard SC's Jelte Heikens got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Edgard Heesen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan-Joost Moorlag skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Klidse's zone, Jan Eschendaal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Everts came out of the goal and Jan Eschendaal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Klidse getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Andreas Stubbe hit a great ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Jan Eschendaal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hydaard SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Eschendaal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stefan Huisman hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Wim Dongen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Joost Moorlag having to interfere. Wim Dongen might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Joost Moorlag. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Dongen ran back to his position shaking his head. Jan Eschendaal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. John Everts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The long shot by Ferdi Lokin in the 60th minute really tested Jan-Joost Moorlag's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jan Eschendaal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anthony den Engelsman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan-Joost Moorlag made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Ramon Stam sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Jan Eschendaal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but John Everts was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Hydaard SC's Jan-Joost Moorlag played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Dongen in the 80th minute of play. With a little luck, Hydaard SC's Jan-Joost Moorlag got control of the ball when Ramon Stam tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wim Dongen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Joost Moorlag having to interfere. When Ramon Stam came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Klidse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Stam couldn't finish the play. Ramon Stam hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
