Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Coos Zegwaard got the match started through his kick off. Lukas Klooster recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukas Klooster in the 9th minute of play forced Annendaal SV's goalkeeper Jeroen Grommers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klaas Cremers kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Nieuwebrug's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Baker came free, but Thijs Cales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Zon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thijs Cales firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Auke Gierman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Annendaal SV getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Arno Wansink hit a great ball. If Coos Zegwaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Billy Baker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thijs Cales having to interfere. Auke Gierman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeroen Grommers having to interfere. If Coos Zegwaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Thijs Cales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Zon in the 57th minute of play. Rafael Zon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Thijs Cales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Coos Zegwaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Coos Zegwaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeroen Grommers having to interfere. After 71 minutes of play, Annendaal SV's Rafael Zon made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thijs Cales was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute, Auke Gierman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Auke Gierman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jeroen Grommers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Annendaal SV's Klaas Cremers got a free kick in the 85th minute. Arno Wansink's late challenge caught a Nieuwebrug's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arno Wansink helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nieuwebrug booed when Annendaal SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arno Wansink didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Arno Wansink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domenik Wegman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 97 minutes, Rafael Zon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Annendaal SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Zon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Nieuwebrug players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
