Sebastiaan Wegman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Zon in the 8th minute. After 8 played minutes Maarsbergen got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Steyns. Billy Baker had several of the Maarsbergen's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Sebastiaan Wegman as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jeroen Grommers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klaas van Zwam in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Annendaal SV's zone, Klaas van Zwam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeroen Grommers came out of the goal and Klaas van Zwam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Klaas Cremers kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Barry Strobos hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Sebastiaan Wegman was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edwin Rodenberg. Billy Baker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastiaan Wegman having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Maarsbergen's Klaas van Zwam sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeroen Grommers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Maarsbergen booed when Annendaal SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rik Ronde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Annendaal SV's Arno Wansink couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Maarsbergen. Rafael Zon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Sebastiaan Wegman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Klaas van Zwam made the kick off in the second half. Klaas van Zwam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Klaas van Zwam fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Annendaal SV getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Klaas Cremers hit a great ball. Sebastiaan Wegman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Baker in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaas van Zwam in the 64th minute of play forced Annendaal SV's goalkeeper Jeroen Grommers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klaas van Zwam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeroen Grommers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klaas van Zwam in the 76th minute of the match. Rafael Zon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeroen Grommers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaas van Zwam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harm Pool fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeroen Grommers having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, one of Annendaal SV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
