Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rogier Mans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jochem Schenning having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Kandelaar's goalkeeper Jacques Bruinsma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dirk Lamberts. In the 13th minute, Tin's Hendrik-Jan Reitsma ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacques Bruinsma. Jacques Bruinsma yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Rogier Mans came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Kandelaar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogier Mans couldn't finish the play. After 21 played minutes Kandelaar got a freekick which was hit by Marinus Plenter. In the 22nd minute, Dirk Lamberts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Kandelaar getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Joris Bosschaart hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Kandelaar's goal looked a bit too open when Hendrik-Jan Reitsma came free, but Jacques Bruinsma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacques Bruinsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hendrik-Jan Reitsma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hendrik-Jan Reitsma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 33 minutes, Rogier Mans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kandelaar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogier Mans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jochem Schenning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogier Mans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogier Mans in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jochem Schenning prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Godfried Lans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jochem Schenning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogier Mans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
After 52 minutes, Rogier Mans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kandelaar and the Tin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute, Dirk Lamberts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hendrik-Jan Reitsma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Adriaan Weinands hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tin's Hendrik-Jan Reitsma got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jochem Schenning made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Rogier Mans sent off a good shot on target. Jochem Schenning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfried Lans, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godfried Lans in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jochem Schenning saved Tin from getting behind.
