Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 6 minutes, Foeke Zoethout managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ternaard Excelsior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Foeke Zoethout was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pascal Dol hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Jorn Middel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guus Bos, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Jorn Middel came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Ternaard Excelsior's Foeke Zoethout. But to his dismay, Foeke Zoethout quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 20 minutes of play, Ternaard Excelsior's Guus Bos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorn Middel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute Pascal Dol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard van der Schans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard van der Schans made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Arjen Lindenbergh sent off a good shot on target. If Foeke Zoethout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Foeke Zoethout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorn Middel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes, Guus Bos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ternaard Excelsior and the Augstbuurt players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes Augstbuurt got a freekick which was hit by Arjen Lindenbergh. The supporters of Ternaard Excelsior booed when Augstbuurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascal Dol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorn Middel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Foeke Zoethout in the 40th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guus Bos in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorn Middel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guus Bos made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Pascal Dol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Augstbuurt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ternaard Excelsior the free kick. Pascal Dol hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Foeke Zoethout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorn Middel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guus Bos in the 64th minute of the match. Richard van der Schans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnold Doren, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Lukas Sans kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Guus Bos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ternaard Excelsior's Sipke Tigelaar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jorn Middel but with some difficulty. Foeke Zoethout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jorn Middel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arjen Lindenbergh hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 87 minutes, Kelvin van Zaanen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Augstbuurt and the Ternaard Excelsior players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arnold Doren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Augstbuurt fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ternaard Excelsior were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
