Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gilbert Vrieling made the kick off and thus started the match. Ed Haydon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ed Haydon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Egbert Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 minutes, Ed Haydon made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Dussen FC's Egbert Reis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ed Haydon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Egbert Reis made a huge save. Ed Haydon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Egbert Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilbert Vrieling in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egbert Reis saved Dussen FC from getting behind. 27 minutes into the game, Pieter Oorthuis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oppenhuizen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dussen FC the free kick. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Gilbert Vrieling sped through Dussen FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Egbert Reis. Ed Haydon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Oppenhuizen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John Franssen was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Oppenhuizen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Panter to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ed Haydon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oppenhuizen's supporters rose to their feet, but Ed Haydon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egbert Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Oppenhuizen's Gilbert Vrieling in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dussen FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Panter during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Oppenhuizen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Panter to maneuver through the defense. Egbert Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilbert Vrieling's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Gilbert Vrieling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egbert Reis having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ed Haydon in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egbert Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilbert Vrieling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Egbert Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eric Wielens fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oppenhuizen's protests and gave Eric Wielens a yellow card for diving instead. Eric Wielens hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilbert Vrieling in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egbert Reis saved Dussen FC from getting behind. Egbert Reis came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Oppenhuizen's Gilbert Vrieling. But to his dismay, Gilbert Vrieling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Oppenhuizen had played much better football throughout.
