Hans Reitsma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damien Luirink in the 3rd minute of the match. One of Nijnsel FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hellcity Redstars F.C:s goal. Nijnsel FC:s Hans Reitsma showed great skill when he stopped Alwin Batum:s penalty. In the 7th minute, Alwin Batum made a precise shot to the right of Hans Reitsma. Nijnsel FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 10th minute Damien Luirink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Reitsma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans Reitsma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damien Luirink, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Hans Geerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Wouter den Hartog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Reitsma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36thth minute of the game Adriaan Ricksen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nijnsel FC's Hans Reitsma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriaan Ricksen in the 37th minute of play forced Nijnsel FC's goalkeeper Hans Reitsma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Hellcity Redstars F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Pragt to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Nijnsel FC's zone, Adriaan Ricksen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Reitsma came out of the goal and Adriaan Ricksen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adriaan Ricksen to make the kick off. In the 61st minute, Falco Tieleman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damien Luirink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Adriaan Ricksen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hans Reitsma was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Damien Luirink succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 69th playminute. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Nijnsel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adriaan Ricksen came free, but Hans Reitsma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Nijnsel FC's goalkeeper Hans Reitsma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damien Luirink. Ger Niekamp's late challenge caught a Hellcity Redstars F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ger Niekamp helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Nijnsel FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ger Niekamp hit a great ball. After 88 played minutes Hellcity Redstars F.C got a freekick which was hit by Steven van der Werff. In the 93rd match minute, Hellcity Redstars F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henk Ijksma to maneuver through the defense. Hans Reitsma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriaan Ricksen, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. In the 99th minute, Nijnsel FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Adriaan Ricksen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hellcity Redstars F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
