Steven Hebert didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 17th minute. Merenwijk's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Jurre Seedorf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tim Sanders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Bleiswijk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tim Sanders having to make a save. Steven Hebert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Anthony Bleiswijk made a huge save.

Anthony Bleiswijk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freek Bernard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freek Bernard in the 54th minute of play forced Hamdijk's goalkeeper Anthony Bleiswijk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karel Koops kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 61 minutes, Jelle Westra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hamdijk and the Merenwijk players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Merenwijk booed when Hamdijk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jelle Westra didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Hamdijk booed when Merenwijk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Beuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Merenwijk's Tim Sanders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Japke Stuijvenberg in the 81st minute of play. After 82 played minutes Japke Stuijvenberg rounded Merenwijk's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Mathias Bleiswijk charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathias Bleiswijk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hamdijk getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Mathias Bleiswijk hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steven Hebert in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anthony Bleiswijk saved Hamdijk from getting behind. Japke Stuijvenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Sanders having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Japke Stuijvenberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tim Sanders was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
