Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Andrej Moštenan kicked off to start the match. Melvin de Visser stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrej Moštenan's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Melvin de Visser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrej Moštenan in the 8th minute of the match. Empe Excelsior's Gregorio Tor got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sandfirden Excelsior's Melvin de Visser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrej Moštenan in the 13th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 14th minute when Andrej Moštenan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Empe Excelsior's Andrej Moštenan in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sandfirden Excelsior's goalie prevented a goal. Sandfirden Excelsior's Melvin de Visser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrej Moštenan in the 20th minute of play. Andrej Moštenan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melvin de Visser having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrej Moštenan in the 23rd minute of play forced Sandfirden Excelsior's goalkeeper Melvin de Visser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeroen Lever scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haroldo Poncio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the game, Jacob Bartele was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandfirden Excelsior's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Empe Excelsior the free kick. In the 31stth minute of the game Andrej Moštenan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sandfirden Excelsior's Melvin de Visser was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gregorio Tor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Melvin de Visser when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Andrej Moštenan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Melvin de Visser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrej Moštenan in the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Empe Excelsior getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Willem Buskes hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Gregorio Tor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Empe Excelsior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ed Smits to strike the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes, Willem Buskes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Empe Excelsior and the Sandfirden Excelsior players grew even worse after the yellow card. Willem Buskes hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Andrej Moštenan took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melvin de Visser. Melvin de Visser dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Melvin de Visser stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrej Moštenan's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Melvin de Visser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Tor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes of play, Empe Excelsior's Gregorio Tor made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melvin de Visser was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Tor in the 75th minute of play forced Sandfirden Excelsior's goalkeeper Melvin de Visser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Sandfirden Excelsior's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Tor came free, but Melvin de Visser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregorio Tor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Melvin de Visser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrej Moštenan took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melvin de Visser. Melvin de Visser dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. If Andrej Moštenan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrej Moštenan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melvin de Visser having to make a save.
