Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Steve Schaeffer kicked off to start the match. If Ralph Robbermond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ralph Robbermond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Nico Apotheker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8th play minutes Dirk-Jan Temen shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Nico Apotheker and just under the crossbar into goal. When Dirk-Jan Temen came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the GYM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dirk-Jan Temen couldn't finish the play. Nico Apotheker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Schaars in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Voorweg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dirk-Jan Temen was slow to take the kick. During this time GYM's players had a chance to rest. GYM's Dirk-Jan Temen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nico Apotheker in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 17 minutes into the match, GYM's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Schaeffer came free, but Ruud Colen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dirk-Jan Temen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nico Apotheker was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Voorweg's Nico Apotheker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Ruiter in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Dirk-Jan Temen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GYM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dirk-Jan Temen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute, Henk den Hartog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute GYM were awarded a corner. Dirk-Jan Temen went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to GYM's Ricky Ruiter getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Nico Apotheker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricky Ruiter in the 37th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Voorweg's goal looked a bit too open when Ricky Ruiter came free, but Nico Apotheker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dirk-Jan Temen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Giovanni Schaars scored 0-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nico Apotheker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Voorweg's goal looked a bit too open when Dirk-Jan Temen came free, but Nico Apotheker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giovanni Schaars made a kick off. After a rather tough play, GYM's Ricky Bulder got a free kick in the 50th minute. Taco Lurling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruud Colen having to interfere. Ricky Ruiter might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nico Apotheker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricky Ruiter ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute Dirk-Jan Temen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Apotheker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Dirk-Jan Temen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GYM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dirk-Jan Temen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 66 played minutes GYM got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Robbermond. After 70 minutes, Ricky Bulder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GYM and the Voorweg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricky Bulder kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Ruud Colen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taco Lurling in the 71st minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Ralph Robbermond dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nico Apotheker, 0-3. Ralph Robbermonds short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Nico Apotheker to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, GYM's Giovanni Schaars got a free kick in the 80th minute. Dirk-Jan Temen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Apotheker having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Voorweg's goalkeeper Nico Apotheker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giovanni Schaars. When Ralph Robbermond came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the GYM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralph Robbermond couldn't finish the play. After 91 played minutes Ralph Robbermond rounded Voorweg's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Ricky Bulder managed to get in a good position for a shot. GYM's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricky Bulder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nico Apotheker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. GYM's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
