Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Laarakkers's zone, Steve Schaeffer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Dorenbosch came out of the goal and Steve Schaeffer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Humberto Ponk fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laarakkers's protests and gave Humberto Ponk a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Laarakkers getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Humberto Ponk hit a great ball. Brain Veenema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Nico Apotheker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Laarakkers booed when Voorweg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Fens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laarakkers's Brain Veenema got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roel Baars recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Voorweg's Steve Schaeffer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mark Dorenbosch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Laarakkers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Voorweg:s goal. In the 33rd minute, Brain Veenema got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Voorweg's Taco Lurling got a free kick in the 38th minute. Nico Apotheker made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Roel Baars sent off a good shot on target. Brain Veenema sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taco Lurling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Mark Dorenbosch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Laarakkers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Voorweg were winning 0-2.

Roel Baars sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Laarakkers's Mark Dorenbosch got control of the ball when Taco Lurling tried to sneak it across the goal line. Voorweg's Nico Apotheker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brain Veenema in the 64th minute of play. If Brain Veenema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steve Schaeffer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Mark Dorenbosch managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Voorweg's Taco Lurling fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Laarakkers defense, Taco Lurling kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mark Dorenbosch. The Laarakkers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mark Dorenbosch should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Roel Baars managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laarakkers's supporters rose to their feet, but Roel Baars was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nico Apotheker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laarakkers's Brain Veenema got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Taco Lurling got free with Mark Dorenbosch in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Taco Lurling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Mark Dorenbosch made a huge save. Taco Lurling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mark Dorenbosch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Laarakkers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Voorweg's performance. The match ended with a win for Voorweg.
