The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Ravenbergen got free with Ralf Visser in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Riemer Klerk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Terhorne's supporters rose to their feet, but Riemer Klerk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ralf Visser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ralf Visser made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Ravenbergen in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Riemer Klerk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ralf Visser. Eelderwolde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Riemer Klerk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Cobus Ooijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaap Hoogsteen having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Terhorne left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Eelderwolde.
