Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Marco Zaagman made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Visbuurt's zone, Marcus Heeringa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niels-Jan Vonk came out of the goal and Marcus Heeringa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Marcus Heeringa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Niels-Jan Vonk came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Brillerij's Bas de Lange. But to his dismay, Bas de Lange quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Brillerij getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Roland Wansink hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Brillerij's Marcus Heeringa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Niels-Jan Vonk. Niels-Jan Vonk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Niels-Jan Vonk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Heeringa in the 34th minute of the match. Niels-Jan Vonk came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Brillerij's Bas de Lange. But to his dismay, Bas de Lange quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 42nd minute, Sven Zijden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
Brillerij's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Marco Zaagman 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-1. In the 55th minute, Henk Alkema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bas de Lange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Niels-Jan Vonk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Bas de Lange left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brillerij fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. 69 minutes into the match, Brillerij's Bas de Lange sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niels-Jan Vonk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lex Kloppenburg's late challenge caught a Visbuurt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lex Kloppenburg helped the player get up and apologised. 74 minutes into the match, Brillerij's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Zaagman came free, but Dirk Jan Bartels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Visbuurt's Marco Zaagman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dirk Jan Bartels narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 82 minutes, Marcus Heeringa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brillerij's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Heeringa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute, one of Visbuurt:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Visbuurt. Ed Fuchs walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Niels-Jan Vonk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bas de Lange in the 97th minute of play.
