Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Brillerij's Marcus Heeringa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bas de Lange struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Maurits Zuurman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brillerij. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Marcus Heeringa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Pepinusbrug SC booed when Brillerij was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogier de Haan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Bas de Lange managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brillerij's supporters rose to their feet, but Bas de Lange was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurits Zuurman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bas de Lange could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Maurits Zuurman made a huge save. After 15 played minutes Pepinusbrug SC got a freekick which was hit by Jan de Boer. In the 18thth minute of the game Marcus Heeringa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pepinusbrug SC's Maurits Zuurman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bas de Lange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Maurits Zuurman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Heeringa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bas de Lange could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Maurits Zuurman made a huge save. After having played for 30 minutes, Danny Franssen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pepinusbrug SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danny Franssen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tom Steen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Heeringa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bas de Lange's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurits Zuurman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Marcus Heeringa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurits Zuurman having to interfere. Bas de Lange's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurits Zuurman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. If Bas de Lange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dirk-Jan Tuhuteru made a kick off. Pepinusbrug SC's Maurits Zuurman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Heeringa in the 58th minute of play. When Brillerij's Marcus Heeringa in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pepinusbrug SC's goalie prevented a goal. If Dirk-Jan Tuhuteru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. Dirk-Jan Tuhuteru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Jan Bartels having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Bas de Lange cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Maurits Zuurman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Brillerij's Dirk Jan Bartels got control of the ball when Tom Steen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maurits Zuurman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bas de Lange in the 74th minute of play. Marcus Heeringa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Maurits Zuurman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven Zijden in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurits Zuurman saved Pepinusbrug SC from getting behind. Marcus Heeringa took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurits Zuurman. Maurits Zuurman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Maurits Zuurman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Heeringa in the 89th minute of play. Bas de Lange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Marcus Heeringa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brillerij walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
