Koudekerk's supporters rose to their feet, but Cor Knuppel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emile Greef breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, Bult's goalkeeper Emile Greef had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cor Knuppel. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timmie Boeve was the one to do the kick off. After 57 played minutes Koudekerk got a freekick which was hit by Youri de Witte. Bult's Gert Bouwman got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Hans Hofsteenge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Koudekerk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bult the free kick. Hans Hofsteenge hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Bult's goal looked a bit too open when Cor Knuppel came free, but Emile Greef reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timmie Boeve couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gert Bouwman got free with Ralf Stekelenburg in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gert Bouwman took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralf Stekelenburg. Ralf Stekelenburg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Randag in the 95th minute of play forced Koudekerk's goalkeeper Ralf Stekelenburg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bult's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
