Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ramon Busch started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Nieuwklap getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ger van Zwam hit a great ball. Johannes Palsma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Melis having to interfere. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nieuwklap's goalkeeper Henry Melis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 7 played minutes Nieuwklap got a freekick which was hit by Egbert Graaff. In the 10thth minute of the game Ramon Busch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nieuwklap's Henry Melis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Johannes Palsma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Henry Melis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of AMOR EROS booed when Nieuwklap was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freek de Vos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egbert Graaff charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egbert Graaff the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nieuwklap getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henry Melis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Palsma, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, AMOR EROS's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Ricksen came free, but Nathan Ottens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nathan Ottens made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Hans Meindert sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otto Ricksen during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of AMOR EROS booed when Nieuwklap was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 40thth minute of the game Ramon Busch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nieuwklap's Henry Melis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ramon Busch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Melis having to interfere. Ramon Busch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Otto Ricksen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Nieuwklap's Henry Melis got control of the ball when Johannes Palsma tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Gerrit Tijink fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AMOR EROS's protests and gave Gerrit Tijink a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Gerrit Tijink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 minutes, Stefan Paas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AMOR EROS and the Nieuwklap players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes AMOR EROS got a freekick which was hit by Antoon Bijlsma. Ramon Busch might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henry Melis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramon Busch ran back to his position shaking his head. Johannes Palsma might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henry Melis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johannes Palsma ran back to his position shaking his head. After 91 minutes, Otto Ricksen made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. AMOR EROS's Nathan Ottens tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nieuwklap succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though AMOR EROS had controlled the match.
