When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gerrit Braamhaar sped through Keijenborg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramon Horring. 8 minutes into the match, Minkeloos's goalkeeper Wilfred Kramer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bertus Strobos. When Alexander Teesing fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Keijenborg's protests and gave Alexander Teesing a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Alexander Teesing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramon Horring stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Lamey's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. When Bram den Hartog fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Keijenborg's protests and gave Bram den Hartog a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, Keijenborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bram den Hartog to maneuver through the defense. Bertus Strobos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Minkeloos getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Bernard Maas hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Keijenborg's Bertus Strobos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilfred Kramer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Keijenborg's Bram den Hartog got his second yellow card of the match in the 37th minute. The referee ordered Bram den Hartog off the ground. When Gerrit Braamhaar came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Minkeloos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerrit Braamhaar couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Hubert Zuurman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minkeloos's supporters rose to their feet, but Hubert Zuurman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Horring breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Jan Hendrik Boersma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Minkeloos's Gerrit Braamhaar got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emil Lamey was the one to do the kick off. Wilfred Kramer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertus Strobos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bertus Strobos might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilfred Kramer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertus Strobos ran back to his position shaking his head. Gerrit Braamhaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ramon Horring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Emil Lamey lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Ramon Horring. Gerrit Braamhaar took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramon Horring. Ramon Horring dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When Emil Lamey came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Minkeloos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Lamey couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Keijenborg's Jan Hendrik Boersma got a free kick in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Lamey in the 77th minute of play forced Keijenborg's goalkeeper Ramon Horring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Keijenborg's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Lamey came free, but Ramon Horring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Keijenborg's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Lamey came free, but Ramon Horring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gerrit Braamhaar, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 88 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ramon Horring was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
