Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kosberg FC's Mark Keller started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Kosberg FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Mark Keller hit a great ball. Anton Karremans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Koekkoek, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 9 played minutes Kosberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Abraham de Vries. After 10 played minutes, Schuilenburg's Bram Stroeve shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anton Karremans came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Schuilenburg reached it. Gido van der Wiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remond Stuifzand having to interfere. Kosberg FC's Anton Karremans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Caluwé in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mark Keller in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remond Stuifzand saved Schuilenburg from getting behind. Olof Koekkoek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mark Keller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gido van der Wiel got free with Remond Stuifzand in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kosberg FC's Gido van der Wiel got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berend Huizing hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Gido van der Wiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kosberg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gido van der Wiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Schuilenburg getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Werner Reintjes hit a great ball. Folkert Grijp kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Anton Karremans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Caluwé, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Remond Stuifzand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Keller in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Schuilenburg were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the match, Schuilenburg's goal looked a bit too open when Gido van der Wiel came free, but Remond Stuifzand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andre Caluwé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olof Koekkoek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 62 played minutes Schuilenburg got a freekick which was hit by Ger Franssen. In the 65thth minute of the game Olof Koekkoek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kosberg FC's Anton Karremans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute Olof Koekkoek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Karremans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kosberg FC's zone, Olof Koekkoek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Karremans came out of the goal and Olof Koekkoek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Andre Caluwé had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 85th minute of the match, Olof Koekkoek tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anton Karremans saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ger Franssen hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Gido van der Wiel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remond Stuifzand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Andre Caluwé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Anton Karremans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Schuilenburg walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
