Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabiën Jonker started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Bakenberg's Hendrik-Jan Moorman got control of the ball when Arie Weerd tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiel Kielstra during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bakenberg's Emiel Kielstra got a free kick in the 6th minute. Hendrik-Jan Moorman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arie Weerd in the 8th minute. Kloostereind's Andy Weerd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roeland Lucius in the 13th minute of play. When Mark Traa came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Bakenberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Traa couldn't finish the play. Andy Weerd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Schaeffer in the 19th minute of play. Douwe Alards's late challenge caught a Bakenberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Douwe Alards helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kloostereind's Douwe Alards got a free kick in the 20th minute. Hendrik-Jan Moorman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiën Jonker in the 22nd minute of the match. If Arie Weerd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Bakenberg's goalkeeper Hendrik-Jan Moorman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arie Weerd. Hendrik-Jan Moorman made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Arie Weerd sent off a good shot on target. Arie Weerd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Hendrik-Jan Moorman made a huge save. Roeland Lucius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Andy Weerd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Anton Schaeffer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Weerd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roeland Lucius to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabiën Jonker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Hendrik-Jan Moorman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Roeland Lucius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arie Weerd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kloostereind's Arie Weerd got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 72 minutes, Michel Sloothaak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bakenberg and the Kloostereind players grew even worse after the yellow card. 80 minutes into the match, Bakenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiën Jonker came free, but Hendrik-Jan Moorman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andy Weerd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Schaeffer in the 91st minute of play. Anton Schaeffer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Andy Weerd made a huge save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
