Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mark Boven made the kick off which started today's match. Blerick were furious when Pascal van der Werff was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 5 minutes into the game, one of Blerick:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, Odoornerveen's Alwin Zandberg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Klaas Jan Berends. If Coenraad Zandee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin de Zwart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coenraad Zandee in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Coenraad Zandee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin de Zwart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Blerick's zone, Harm Hilkes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klaas Jan Berends came out of the goal and Harm Hilkes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 35 played minutes Odoornerveen got a freekick which was hit by Olof Dilling. Blerick's Coenraad Zandee got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin de Zwart didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henry Helwig went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Klaas Jan Berends was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alwin Zandberg.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlo Tulner to strike the kick off in the second half. Olof Dilling's late challenge caught a Blerick's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olof Dilling helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Odoornerveen's Olof Dilling got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 57 played minutes, Blerick's Geert Ronde shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Martin de Zwart came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Blerick reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Coenraad Zandee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blerick's supporters rose to their feet, but Coenraad Zandee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin de Zwart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61stth minute of the game Carlo Tulner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blerick's Klaas Jan Berends was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeffrey Davids charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeffrey Davids the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jeffrey Davids hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Blerick's Coenraad Zandee got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Coenraad Zandee's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin de Zwart read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. After 69 minutes, Thijs Greef mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Odoornerveen and the Blerick players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Odoornerveen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thijs Greef to maneuver through the defense. Coenraad Zandee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin de Zwart having to interfere. Carlo Tulner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Blerick booed when Odoornerveen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thijs Breinburg didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Odoornerveen's Martin de Zwart got control of the ball when Coenraad Zandee tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Coenraad Zandee notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Odoornerveen's Martin de Zwart. Martin de Zwart was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carlo Tulner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaas Jan Berends having to interfere. The Odoornerveen supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Blerick's performance. The match ended with a win for Blerick.
