Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Carsten Ijspol lost his temper 4 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bakenberg's goalkeeper Hendrik-Jan Moorman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hendrik-Jan Moorman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coenraad Zandee in the 20th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Bakenberg got a freekick which was hit by Mark Traa. 21 minutes into the match, Bakenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Coenraad Zandee came free, but Hendrik-Jan Moorman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Blerick's Coenraad Zandee sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hendrik-Jan Moorman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mark Boven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hendrik-Jan Moorman having to interfere. Mark Boven took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hendrik-Jan Moorman. Hendrik-Jan Moorman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Coenraad Zandee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hendrik-Jan Moorman having to interfere. If Coenraad Zandee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 played minutes Bakenberg got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Tulner. Mark Boven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hendrik-Jan Moorman having to interfere. Coenraad Zandee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 minutes of play, Bakenberg's Anton Schaeffer made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Klaas Jan Berends was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anton Schaeffer was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Bakenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roeland Lucius to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute Mark Boven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik-Jan Moorman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bakenberg's zone, Mark Boven stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hendrik-Jan Moorman came out of the goal and Mark Boven tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emiel Kielstra's late challenge caught a Blerick's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emiel Kielstra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Emiel Kielstra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hendrik-Jan Moorman came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Blerick's Mark Boven. But to his dismay, Mark Boven quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 64th minute, Jeffrey Davids hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Schaeffer in the 71st minute of play forced Blerick's goalkeeper Klaas Jan Berends to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bakenberg booed when Blerick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erwin Dongen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anton Schaeffer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Klaas Jan Berends tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Coenraad Zandee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roeland Lucius during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Bakenberg:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Blerick:s goal. Hendrik-Jan Moorman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Boven in the 83rd minute of play. Coenraad Zandees short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Hendrik-Jan Moorman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Blerick getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jean-Paul Lans hit a great ball. Blerick's Mark Boven got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anton Schaeffer in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Klaas Jan Berends prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erwin Dongen during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes Blerick got a freekick which was hit by Erwin Dongen. Coenraad Zandee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blerick's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
