Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Christiaan Stroobos kicked off to start the match. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Havenhoofd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mark Roeles was slow to take the kick. During this time Lettelbert's players had a chance to rest. Mark Roeles made a great header on Lettelbert's corner, it was just that Havenhoofd's Derk Verbeek managed to reach the ball for a save. When Lettelbert's Alfred Rensenbrink in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Martien Collins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Havenhoofd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lettelbert the free kick. After 27 played minutes Lettelbert got a freekick which was hit by Werner Korevaar. When Werner Korevaar fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lettelbert's protests and gave Werner Korevaar a yellow card for diving instead. Werner Korevaar kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Teun van Dijk, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Havenhoofd's Christiaan Stroobos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arno Neijsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Florian Baalman fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Havenhoofd's protests and gave Florian Baalman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Havenhoofd's Florian Baalman got a free kick in the 38th minute. If Alfred Rensenbrink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Lettelbert's Alfred Rensenbrink sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Derk Verbeek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 45 minutes, Alfred Rensenbrink made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Havenhoofd's Derk Verbeek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Havenhoofd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lettelbert were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfred Rensenbrink stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jorn Robben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derk Verbeek having to interfere. Derk Verbeek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Rensenbrink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56thth minute of the game Jorn Robben who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Havenhoofd's Derk Verbeek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Derk Verbeek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorn Robben in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Rensenbrink in the 67th minute of play forced Havenhoofd's goalkeeper Derk Verbeek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurens Kroon's late challenge caught a Havenhoofd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laurens Kroon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, Lettelbert was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurens Kroon to maneuver through the defense. When Laurens Kroon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. Laurens Kroon hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 74th match minute, Havenhoofd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald Heebels to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Havenhoofd's Derk Verbeek got control of the ball when Jorn Robben tried to sneak it across the goal line. Derk Verbeek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Werner Korevaar's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorn Robben got free with Derk Verbeek in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Derk Verbeek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Rensenbrink in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Lettelbert getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Riemer Naaijer hit a great ball. When Patrick van Nieuwstadt came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Lettelbert fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick van Nieuwstadt couldn't finish the play. If Christiaan Stroobos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lettelbert had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
