When Royal Maas Yacht Club's Elroy Oorschot in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Riel HC's Hans Bense, in the 7th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Riel HC. After a defensive mix-up in Riel HC's zone, Cor de Gooijer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nico Hoving came out of the goal and Cor de Gooijer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theo Kruijs got free with Nico Hoving in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wim Otten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Bense, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Cor de Gooijer struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Nico Hoving didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Royal Maas Yacht Club. In the 19th play minute Elroy Oorschot came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nico Hoving. 1-0. Wim Otten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijs Wisgerhof, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Stefano Enzing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elroy Oorschot who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Nico Hoving when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Nico Hoving managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Royal Maas Yacht Club's Elroy Oorschot fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Riel HC's Nico Hoving got control of the ball when Elroy Oorschot tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Elroy Oorschot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 39 in the game by Elroy Oorschot from a close distance when the talented Nico Hoving managed to make a qualified save. Riel HC's players were relieved. Nico Hoving stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elroy Oorschot's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After 44th play minutes Elroy Oorschot shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Nico Hoving and just under the crossbar into goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the game, Elroy Oorschot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Nico Hoving was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 58 minutes, Philip Henselmans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Royal Maas Yacht Club and the Riel HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes Royal Maas Yacht Club got a freekick which was hit by Philip Henselmans. The Royal Maas Yacht Club fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Royal Maas Yacht Club's Elroy Oorschot looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Theo Kruijs sped through Riel HC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nico Hoving. The audience was convinced that Elroy Oorschot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nico Hoving was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Riel HC's zone, Stefano Enzing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nico Hoving came out of the goal and Stefano Enzing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nico Hoving made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cor de Gooijer in the 74th minute of play. Theo Kruijs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elroy Oorschot struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Nico Hoving didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Royal Maas Yacht Club. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Wim Otten successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nico Hoving stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elroy Oorschot's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Kruijs in the 88th minute of play forced Riel HC's goalkeeper Nico Hoving to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nico Hoving stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elroy Oorschot's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Nico Hoving showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cor de Gooijer in the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Royal Maas Yacht Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
