Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cobus Stubbe made the kick off and thus started the match. When Cobus Stubbe, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 3 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Serge Veldhuis was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Veldmaat's goalkeeper Serge Veldhuis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jelmer Wikenburg fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Veldmaat's protests and gave Jelmer Wikenburg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Jelmer Wikenburg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Stuifzand took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Serge Veldhuis. Veldmaat's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Serge Veldhuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cobus Stubbe in the 16th minute of play. Cobus Stubbe charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cobus Stubbe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Veldmaat booed when Stryp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cobus Stubbe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Veldmaat's Serge Veldhuis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cobus Stubbe in the 27th minute of play. Cobus Stubbe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serge Veldhuis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Geert Boezeman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berry Theissen having to interfere. Denny Donderwinkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Veldmaat's goal looked a bit too open when Cobus Stubbe came free, but Serge Veldhuis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Geert Boezeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Denny Donderwinkel made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Stryp's Philip Lanting nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serge Veldhuis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Serge Veldhuis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cobus Stubbe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Bok hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Cobus Stubbe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serge Veldhuis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philip Lanting in the 63rd minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Cobus Stubbe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stryp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cobus Stubbe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geert Boezeman in the 67th minute of play forced Stryp's goalkeeper Berry Theissen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Simon Stuifzand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berry Theissen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geert Boezeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Denny Donderwinkel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berry Theissen having to interfere. Willem Deijnen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serge Veldhuis having to interfere. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stryp! Geert Boezeman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 played minutes Stryp got a freekick which was hit by Elmar Wolf. Veldmaat's Jurjen van der Meer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Stryp. Geert Boezeman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Berry Theissen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Philip Lanting managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stryp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philip Lanting was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 98 played minutes Veldmaat got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Bok. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
