Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dennis Aalders kicked off to start the match. Yuri van Zalen hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Dirk-Jan Ros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medhuizen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dirk-Jan Ros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karel Daalmeyer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chiel Zegwaard hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Ernest van Amersfoort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karel Daalmeyer having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Langedijk FC got a freekick which was hit by Mike Schaars. 15 minutes into the match, Medhuizen FC's Dirk-Jan Ros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karel Daalmeyer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lex Lemmen kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th play minute Ernest van Amersfoort came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Karel Daalmeyer. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Langedijk FC's zone, Harmen Abbenbroek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karel Daalmeyer came out of the goal and Harmen Abbenbroek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Langedijk FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Dirk-Jan Ros scored to the left of an out of position Karel Daalmeyer, making the score, 2-0. In the 36thth minute of the game Lex Lemmen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Medhuizen FC's Jan Huisman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan Huisman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Aalders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lex Lemmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jan Huisman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Dirk-Jan Ros made the kick off in the second half. Karel Daalmeyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dirk-Jan Ros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dennis Aalders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Huisman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dennis Aalders showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 72 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harmen Abbenbroek during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Langedijk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Kolkman to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Langedijk FC defense, Ernest van Amersfoort kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karel Daalmeyer. The Langedijk FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karel Daalmeyer should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Ernest van Amersfoort had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karel Daalmeyer. Langedijk FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernest van Amersfoort was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The supporters of Langedijk FC booed when Medhuizen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdi Harmens didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Medhuizen FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Langedijk FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
