With a left leg Karsten Willemsen saved Welsrijp from getting behind. Tomas Appeldoorn hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Gerard Dekens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter de Zwart having to interfere. In the 17th minute Gerard Dekens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pieter de Zwart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godfried Henselmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karsten Willemsen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurice Akkerman in the 21st minute of play forced Welsrijp's goalkeeper Karsten Willemsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes, Thijs Heuving mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tasdijk and the Welsrijp players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Tasdijk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thijs Heuving to maneuver through the defense. In the 24thth minute of the game Gerard Dekens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tasdijk's Pieter de Zwart was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ted Tonnis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter de Zwart having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Tasdijk's Maurice Akkerman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karsten Willemsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ted Tonnis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter de Zwart having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, one of Tasdijk:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pieter de Zwart went to the wrong direction when Wouter Kleine was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 46th minute Godfried Henselmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karsten Willemsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When Godfried Henselmans came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Tasdijk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfried Henselmans couldn't finish the play. After having played for 56 minutes, Ted Tonnis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Welsrijp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Tonnis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ted Tonnis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 0-1 became the score in the 63rd minute when Godfried Henselmans elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Godfried Henselmans took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Karsten Willemsen to make any attempt to save it. If Godfried Henselmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurice Akkerman scored 0-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karsten Willemsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 77 minutes, Ted Tonnis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Welsrijp and the Tasdijk players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Welsrijp got a freekick which was hit by Ted Tonnis. Godfried Henselmans struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Karsten Willemsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tasdijk. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tasdijk had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
