Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The Punten fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Punten's Ate Deiman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ate Deiman in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kelvin van Harten saved Espelo HC from getting behind. In the 11thth minute of the game Ate Deiman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espelo HC's Kelvin van Harten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ate Deimans short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Kelvin van Harten to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ate Deiman in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kelvin van Harten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ate Deiman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Kelvin van Harten 17 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes Espelo HC got a freekick which was hit by Wim Roelofsen. Kelvin van Harten was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Albert Beerthuis. After 27th play minutes Ate Deiman shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Kelvin van Harten and just under the crossbar into goal. Kelvin van Harten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ate Deiman's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Ate Deiman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Kelvin van Harten when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Espelo HC's goal looked a bit too open when Ate Deiman came free, but Kelvin van Harten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Espelo HC's goal looked a bit too open when Ate Deiman came free, but Kelvin van Harten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Beerthuis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Kelvin van Harten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ate Deiman to make the kick off. Kelvin van Harten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ate Deiman went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 57th match minute, Punten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico van der Woude to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathijs Klap in the 60th minute of play forced Espelo HC's goalkeeper Kelvin van Harten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kelvin van Harten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ate Deiman went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Klaas Boeringe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernard Reitsema. Punten's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ate Deiman in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kelvin van Harten saved Espelo HC from getting behind. After 82 played minutes Espelo HC got a freekick which was hit by Jan Hendrik Tellingen. The audience was convinced that Ate Deiman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kelvin van Harten was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 86th minute, Marco Cranenburgh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 88 played minutes Espelo HC got a freekick which was hit by Wim Roelofsen. When Punten's Ate Deiman in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Espelo HC's goalie prevented a goal. Kelvin van Harten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sjoerd van Heiningen in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Mathijs Klap managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Punten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathijs Klap was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ate Deiman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Espelo HC's goal looked a bit too open when Ate Deiman came free, but Kelvin van Harten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Punten had played much better football throughout.
